Close up photography

Close up photography

Close up photography is another style and technique of taking pictures of which photographers will use in particular if they want to capture the detail in there pictures of which a long range picture would not capture because of it not being at a as detailed viewpoint as a close up. This all involved focus on the camera  being used and also depth of filed comes into it because one problem that will experience with this is that behind and in front of the main focus will be sharp this is swallow focus  ,however  if the setting of the aperture is set to a lower number you will get a sharper and clearer depth of filed

Here is the original picture which i used from a set of photos i had previously had taken i chose to take a already shot picture from long range and then alter on photo shop as i wanted to get maximum detail and found it easier to do this way, i chose this picture because it had a good distance from the camera also all though the picture is clear you can not see much detail .

This is the end product of my first attempt i chose a area of the picture to crop to which think there was a good focus of which was the extending leaf coming out however one thing after editing the picture which would change is when shooting the original photograph i would of lowered the aperture number as the front and background of the focus is out .

F 16.0
iso - 100
1/125
exposure - manual
focal lengh - 55.0mm

Looking at some pictures i have taken i have found examples of close up photography in it in particular these two pictures which is from two different angles but both are close up angles , of which is showing more detail than would making the writing on the wrapper a lot clearer and sharper.
