Portrature

F/18 1/50 ISO 400

F6.3 ISO 400
Portrate photography is photographes taken of a person and is usually in a still postion and mostly the person is looking directly at the camera , one purpose by doing this style of photography is to show the emotion/mood or personality of the person in the photograph.

In these set of pictures i wanted to both do the standard portrate style but also do a different angle on it .The first picture has the person starring straight into the camera for my first few pictures i wanted to be safe and stick with the normal conventions and using the natural light in the pictures then as went on started to experiment with different natural light shades and different positions for the person in the pictures .

This picture is the one i would pick out of them all as i think its a good example of a portrate for different reasons. The person in the picture is looking at the camera but also i think the picture shows the mood of her by the body language in the picture and her facial expression, furthermore i really like the light in the picture i positioned her at the top of some stairs where there was some big windows with beaming sun light coming in which would hit her perfectly with me posioned with my back to the window when taking the picture.
